Twitter and Facebook Logins

Hey folks,

Just to let you know, we now have twitter and facebook login active on
the site. This feature was brought to you by a relay race of
contributors and you are all rock stars!

As always we've been pretty busy over at joind.in lately, ironing out
kinks in the system and adding new features. One of those features is
something that will make a difference to everyone, and it's also
something that I've been asked about repeatedly over the last couple
of years. We are now using other services for authentication against
joind.in rather than having to register yet another username and
password on yet another site.

If you're not already registered with joind.in, then you can sign up
through either of those two services and we'll prompt you to add some
contact details and a username when you do so. If you're already a
joind.in user, then you can log in with a twitter account which is
already associated with your joind.in account, or a facebook account
with the same email address on joind.in and carry on using your
existing account that way.

We hope you like the new features and using joind.in as much as we do!

I'd like to applaud the feature as well as the respect for privacy shown by not requesting write access to my Twitter account. I wish more developers would follow this lead.
