Hi guys,
I met the founders of POP yesterday. Did I ever send you this article about them?

They launched POP last Nov, gotten lots of positive feedback from well-known startup people, ex 37 Signals. They now have about 100k downloads and 60k registered users, about 70k prototype projects created. They came to the Valley this year to raise funding, so far they are about to close a $300k seed round (I will probably invest a little in this), Steve Chen is investing personally and also under his accelerator, and they are now in 500 Startups batch #6. They are looking to raise another $700k at the end of 500 Startups.
If you are interested to meet them, I can introduce you to them for networking. I am also thinking of asking them to see if Steven Chen & his accelerator can meet you and perhaps get you to be part of the accelerator as well.

I know an ITRI guy who came to know POP thru introduction by Cubic Messenger. Cubic is also the one who introduced them into 500 Startups.
I met one of the founders yesterday, he has interesting background and story. (we all have our own interesting stories)
Steven Chen found out about this POP app, thought it was very interesting, asked a friend to connect him to POP. He is personally investing some seed money, his just-started accelerator is also investing. In fact, POP is Steve's accelerator's very first startup. These POP guys are currently living in Steve's accelerator's house in San Mateo.
