Hi All,

Its more than an year since we rode together to Rishikesh. The winters are back and its time to regroup again for a ride to Pushkar.

 

We are planning to depart from Delhi/Gurgaon on Friday the 24th and be back on Sunday 26th December.

 

You are invited to John's garage tomorrow 20th December to discuss the logistics and the route. Even if you cant make it - please drop a line in case you would be riding.

Change in destination but the ride will be as much fun.

Binsar is around 450km. We need to start as early as possible. With hills starting from nanital. The road in june was ok. Now after the rainy season you know the condition of road.

No good news on Pushkar, the Gujjars are still at it.

So Binsar it will be. Considering the distance and riding time, we
should assemble at John's 5 am sharp.
The idea is to hit the highway before dawn and reach the twisty's
early. Dusk/night driving should be avoided at all cost.

I will do some research on the route and keep you all posted.

Looks like this will be a sizable group considering we have a few more
friends joining in. Will circulate the attendee details soon.

Hi,
Binsar it will be. Gujjars have blocked the rail tracks at Ajmer and
may very soon block highways.

We are working on the Accomodation and will confirm at the earliest.

The rooms will be tripple occupancy and will cost about 1K per head
for 2 Nights. So keep a budget of about 1.5 k for accommodation at the
higher end.

Fuel expenses will be yours and food bills will be extra. Please carry
a torch as most of the resorts do not have electricity.
