Thursday May 10, 2012 Today is Day 2

AP Exams: Are you taking an AP exam? If so, the day of the exam you
must be in the lobby by 7:05 for morning exams or by 11:05 for
afternoon exams in order to get on the bus.

Senior Prom Guests: A guest form, for non-JJ students, must be
completed and then signed by your grade level administrator, before a
prom ticket can be purchased.

Cap & Gowns: Jostens will be here to distribute caps and gowns for
seniors on May 22nd and 23rd during all lunch periods in room 112.

Fall Sports: If you plan to try out for a fall sport, please see the
nurse now.

Driver’s Education: The Driver Ed office is now accepting
applications for the summer sessions of driver education. Please see
the Wappingers website for more details.

CLUBS & ACTIVITIES

Dodgeball Tournament: FBLA will host its annual Dodgeball Tournament
on May 17th. Team forms are on the bulletin board in the main
office. Drop off forms today during period 5 in room 147.

Junior Class Prom: Committee meeting today after school in room 191.

Dance Group: Meeting today at 2:00 in the auditorium lobby. Meeting
is mandatory if you want to be in the show. Make sure you have
transportation home.

Yearbook: Yearbooks are on sale through tomorrow during lunch periods
in the yearbook office. Cost is $80, cash or checks payable to JJ
Yearbook.

Senior Prom Tickets: Last sale date is tomorrow; tickets will not be
sold after tomorrow. Cost is $92, check payable to Class of 2012 or
money order (money orders are preferred). Guest forms must be
submitted with your purchase. Seating will be decided the week before
the prom.

Senior Field Day: Seniors, show your pride for Senior Field Day on
May 24th. Team sign up forms are in the main office and are due
tomorrow. Drop off in room 225.

Peer Leadership: JJ joins WCSD in recognizing the Dignity for All
Students Act, which provides a safe school environment. Tomorrow, BE
BOLD, BE BRIGHT, LET’S UNITE. Wear bold clothes and accessories to
make a statement of support!

Community Service: The signup sheet for East Fishkill Barrel Planting
on May 19th is
in the main office. See Ms. Dahl in room 202A with questions.
Transportation is required.

Fundraiser: The Niall Heraty Fundraiser is today during all lunch
periods in the café lobby. Please help keep Niall "Forever in our
Hearts" and buy a gold pin, button, or bracelet.

First Annual Stop Bullying Campaign: Myers Corners Elementary School
will host a No Bullying Event tomorrow, 1:00-4:00. Miss New York,
Kaitlin Monte will be the special guest along with a variety of
organizations supporting the Dignity for All Students Act.

SPORTS

Girls Basketball: Attention all girl basketball players, the weight
room is closed today.

Wappingers Crew Club: With a 2nd place team finish last Tuesday at
the Dutchess Cup, success continued over the weekend at the
Triangulars. Join us in wishing the 78 Novice and Varsity rowers and
their coaches flat water and fast boats at State Championships in
Saratoga Springs this coming weekend! To follow the action, go to our

Wappingers Congress of Teachers: The WCT Food Drive begins May 14th
and runs through May 24th. Boxes are located in the main lobby and
main office. Please donate non-perishable food items.
