Monday April 8, 2013 Today is Day 6

BOCES: Not in session today.

Book Drive: Proscenium is running a book drive through April 14th.
Books will benefit children's libraries that suffered damage during
hurricane Sandy and our military forces serving overseas. Boxes are
located in the main office and main lobby.

Senior Prom Committee: Meeting today.

Proscenium: Very important and brief general membership meeting today
at 2:00 sharp. See Mrs. Cooke or Mrs. Mace for more information.

Proscenium: Proudly presents the spring musical, The 25th Annual
Putnam County Spelling Bee, on Friday, April 12th at 7:30 p.m.;
Saturday, April 13th at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, April 14th at 2:00
p.m. Tickets on sale on our website. Adults $12 and students $10.

Senior Prom: Ticket sales begin on April 15th during all lunch
periods in the café lobby. Cost is $80.00 per ticket. If you are
bringing a student from another school, pick up a guest form in the
main office. It must be completed and signed by Mr. Albanese in room
104 before purchasing a ticket.

Volleyball Tournament: Will be rescheduled. Date to be determined.

Tuesday April 9, 2013 Today is Day 1

Book Drive: Proscenium is running a book drive through April 14th.

Used Sneaker Collection: Troop 10167 Booster Club is working with
GreenSneakers.org. If you have old, worn out, outgrown, funky, or
otherwise unwanted sneakers (any condition accepted), please donate
them to the sneaker collection box in the main lobby. Any questions,
contact Troop10167Boost@ optonline.net.

Late Buses: All students who take the late bus must physically be on
the bus no later than 3:40 p.m. You must also have a late bus pass
written by the teacher or coach who supervised your activity.

Dodge Ball Tournament: FBLA will host the Dodge Ball Tournament on

Mrs. Soltish as soon as possible. The Walk-a-thon is set for April
27th at 10:00 a.m. on the Walkway over the Hudson. All members are
strongly encouraged to participate.

discounts for Buffalo Wild Wings, Splash Down, Dunkin Donuts, and many

Cupcake Bake Off: Do you love cupcakes and bake them too? A cupcakes
for CAPE bake off is being hosted by Dutchess BOCES and the Council on
Addiction Prevention & Education (CAPE) to raise awareness of
prescription drug abuse and other youth risk factors. The event will
be held on April 27 at Shadows on the Hudson in Poughkeepsie from
11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Please apply by April 19th. Forms in the main

Environmental Club: Meeting today after school in room 253.

Proscenium: Today, set crew will meet from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and
lighting crew will meet from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Tomorrow, set and
lighting crew will meet 4:00-9:00 p.m. On Thursday, lighting crew
will meet at 4:30.

Math Honor Society: Meeting tomorrow at 2:00 in room 128.

Bake Sale: Wappingers Crew Club will host a bake sale on Thursday
during lunch periods. Monies raised go toward the equipment fund.

Debate Club: Hosting its 5th Annual Model Congress on Saturday at JJ
from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If you are interested in debating current
events and the lawmaking process see Mr. Maoriello or any member of
the debate club to sign up. Sign up quickly because committees are
almost full.

The 4x800 team and 4x400 teams placed 1st.
