Monday March 11, 2013 Today is Day 3

Book Drive: Proscenium is running a book drive through April 14th.
Books will benefit children's libraries that suffered damage during
hurricane Sandy and our military forces serving overseas. Boxes are
located in the main office and main lobby.

CLUBS & ACTIVITIES

Senior Prom Committee: Brief meeting today at 2:00 in room 225.

Interact:
- Please put recycle bins outside your classroom after period 8.
- Meeting at 2:00 in room 128.

Yearbook: Attention Seniors! If you would you like to be part of a
group picture in front of your elementary school, pick up a schedule
in the main office. Alumni photographs begin today at 4:00 p.m. at
Gayhead and will run for two weeks according to the schedule. Be sure
to send an email to jjyea...@gmail.com if you plan to be part of
your elementary school group picture.

John Jay Man:
- Rehearsal today at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium. John Jay Men need
to be ready at 6 sharp with all of their skit participants and any
props they will use. We go on stage at 6:30. Please be on time!
- All masters of ceremony, stage managers, backstage help, run crew,
and costume help need to be present as well.
- Escorts do NOT need to be at rehearsal until Wednesday.
- See Ms. Tarby or Mrs. Mace with questions.

Environmental Club: Meeting tomorrow to paint the mural and discuss
new projects.

Student Council: Rescheduled for Thursday.

John Jay Man: NHS is hosting the John Jay Man Show on Friday, March
15th, at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Tickets will be sold during
all lunch periods for $7.00. Price at the door is $10.00.

SPORTS

Track: Two relay teams competed this weekend at New Balance
Nationals. The emerging elite boys 4x200 of Dante Harris, Courtney
Hunte, Aaron Hamilton and Charles Tankeh placed 37th out of 51 teams.
The emerging elite sprint medley relay team of Gabby Bracchi, Amanda
Giusto, Josley DeLosSantos and Claire Gomba placed 18th out of 41
teams and broke the school record. Congratulations!

Boys Golf: Interest meeting today at 2:00 in room M1 for anyone
interested in trying out for boys golf.

Boys Varsity Lacrosse: Tryouts today at 2:15 p.m. Bring your consent
forms, equipment, cleats, and sneakers. Dress appropriately for
outside weather.

their excellent effort in the State Tournament including medals in
three events.

Yearbook: Attention Seniors! If you would you like to be part of a
group picture in front of your elementary school, pick up a schedule

in the main office. Alumni photographs run through March 21st
