Hi, it's Jason Pargin, formerly David Wong, and I have exiting news: I just signed a new three-book deal with my publisher, and the schedule looks like this:
A new novel in the Zoey Ashe series is coming NEXT YEAR, fall of 2023.
A new secret, standalone thriller is coming the year after that, fall of 2024.
The next book in the John Dies at the End series (the 5th) is coming two years after that, in fall of 2026 (they take much longer to write, for reasons that may or may not be obvious to readers).
On a personal note, this means I'll get to keep writing novels full-time for at least another five years, barring disaster. That is an incredibly rare and privileged position for a novelist to be in and was by no means a sure thing. Thank you so much for your support!
Of course, the next book is up for pre-order now, the 4th book in the John Dies at the End series titled 'If This Book Exists, You're in the Wrong Universe', just search for the title wherever you prefer to buy books. Thanks, everybody!
