Your main screen at launch shows the drive information of single drives attached to the system. Other drives will appear in the drive information window but core functionality is restricted to authorized Corsair SSDs. RAID volumes will not be seen as single drives as the tool cannot address them individually. The "i" symbol will show you the toolbox version number and license agreement. The circular arrows will refresh the tool.
Note: Firmware updates can only be executed when the SSD controller is in AHCI mode. Firmware updating via this toolbox is enabled for The Corsair Series Force 3, Force Series GT, Force Series GS, Neutron Series, and Neutron Series GTX SSDs. Earlier and EOL Corsair drives with firmware updates can be updated manually using the tools supplied on our website.
Additional functions can be activated with the column of buttons down the left side of the toolbox. Corsair is now producing SSDs that do not have factory overprovisioning. For users that desire to manually overprovision their drives, we have provided a function for this. Overprovisioning your drive can contribute to maintaining better performance and adding longevity to your SSD.
We have provided a detailed help file which can be accessed by clicking on the question mark symbol shown here circled in red on the upper left side of the screen. This help file gives detailed information on each function of the SSD toolbox. Clicking the question mark will open the help file in a browser.

i have 3 Corsair Force MP510 M.2 SSD's
i updated the Firmware to Version 12.3 on 2 of the drives and i checked the 3ed newer drive and it is on Version 22.5
it looks like the Corsair SSD toolbox 1.2 is extremely old and not up-to-date
also i cant find the Corsair SSD toolbox on there website and the links to it are broken on there forums.
any help would be wonderful
One of the largest distinguishing factors between a number of the large SSD manufacturers and the enthusiast product providers has been a SSD software package. When purchasing an Intel, Samsung or even OCZ SSD, one of the perks has been a collection of software tools built-into a single interface. Most "toolboxes" display status information from SMART attributes, allow for on-the-fly firmware updates with the firmware downloading through the toolbox and the ability to secure erase the SSD without the hassle of making a Parted Magic boot disk. SSD toolboxes are great for a number of purposes and your SSD either has one, or it doesn't.
After years in the SSD business, Corsair decided it was time to have their very own toolbox. Corsair just made two announcements. The first was the availability of a new hardware based HDD / SSD drive cloning kit. The second announcement was for the new Corsair SSD Toolbox.
One of my favorite reasons to use a toolbox is the easy firmware update functions. We gave floppy drives the kill of death long ago for updating motherboard BI/OS, but toolboxes allow you to do the same for thumb drives. The software noticed I had an older firmware version on my Neutron GTX 240GB and we got started correcting the problem.
Have no fear, M208 is here. Corsair's SSD Toolbox isn't the first toolbox to kick out an error with a drive running out of an array, but on a RAID configured chipset. Even though we had a warning, the firmware appears to be installed. We ran some tests on the drive and have nothing out of the ordinary to report.
We asked Corsair that same question and they said the SSD Toolbox currently works with all Force 3, Force GT, Force GS, Neutron and Neutron GTX drives with full functionality. Most other Corsair SSDs can use most of the software in the toolbox, other than the firmware update feature.

A cursory search of the version number on the Internet reveals that the controller in the flash drive is the Phison S9. Readers might remember the previous generation Phison S8 controller being used in the Corsair Force Series LS SSD. It is heartening to see that the SSD controller along with the flash chips and the SATA - USB 3.0 bridge can be packed in such a small form factor.
