Since I wanted this on my E: Drive anyway, I searched the C drive until I found the installed libraries. I moved them to the destination I wanted in the first place, my E: drive. I just need to know two things:

Hi, new user here. Same problem for me. Used the Toontrack Product Manager and it did not allow me to chose where to install. Just put everything on C which is now full. How can I change the install directory for EZ drummer and the libraries?

ToonTrack has updated EZDrummer2 so that user libraries (IE. Beatbuddy, Groove Monkee, homegrown) can be searched via Tap to find and midi file drop. The below shows a few user libraries I have loaded when filtered on the Beatbuddy content folder. I dropped a blues clip from the list onto the search box and instant BB matches to go with it. If the BeatBuddy filter is turned off all the other ToonTrack, GrooveMonkee and custom midis will be seen in the match list sorted by best match. This is an awesome enhancement that translates to never needing to go to a folder or file and loading one at a time manually to audition or trying to remember what file names sounds like they could go with fills etc.

Hi Moniz,
EZDrummer2 has user libraries in the brower. If you unpack the original content to a folder then go to EZD2 Menu, settings and add folder to user library, there is a checkbox to include in search so that they can also be matched in the Tap2Find and MidiDrop to ToonTrack or Groovemonkee loops.

I have the same question. I purchased the Mikro Mk3 today and while I await for it to be delivered, I was doing some reading about how it's not really set up out-of-the-box to be used as drum pads for drum libraries like Toontrack. I found a youtube video where someone shared their Mikro Mk3 midi template, but it was using a different setup. I came to the NI community in the hopes that others had shared their midi templates rather than me having to spend hours using Controller Editor to create a basic General Midi drum kit template.

second: it all strongly depends on your workflow, if you use only maschine you can save groups or sounds\pads, containing e.g. toontrack, then you can reload it every time you need it. Im sure the mikro mk3 comes also with a basic midi template, normally named template 1, by switching the pad pages you can reach different oktaves. That way you can play any instrument with the pads.

The new Search feature is a really welcome addition, especially if you have a lot of MIDI file libraries installed. The top section lets you filter grooves by Library, Genre, Lead Instrument (or Power Hand), Signature, Type and playing Style.
