Creativity is what happens when something that is so straightforward and apparently uninterpretable, is conceived and reinvented SO differently by each of us.

We have been working on #facesinplaces, small discs with faces stamped in them. The class sounded too boring to pitch, and the results were unexpected, entertaining, and each face led to another creative path. 

Tonight in Joe's Garage summer jewelry studio we will be catching up on our locket projects, "making some faces." If this will be your first time, feel free to begin a locket, or make one of the quicker projects.

It will be good to get together and tune-up our creativity. If you remind me (I tend to head down other paths), I have some creativity jump-starters: Snapguide, Rio Grande, Trendland... and a technique on metal folding we may want to experiment with.
