It's kind of you to offer, but I'm not interested in any sort of flame war - and I think whatever David has to say on another list should probably stay right where it is.  (Not entirely unlike the way most of what he'd been posting HERE should have stayed on other lists...??!)   If he denigrates our list because of something I said, then I'm sorry for that, and apologize to our members -- but that's as far as I go.  My request to him may have been a bit strongly worded, but I don't think asking anyone to stop posting such inappropriate content constitutes "bullying" or was a violation of his 'free speech'; and it certainly wasn't a 'private issue'.

(Hey, unless the folks on that list *love* the sort of things he posts... it might even bring us a few new members here...!)  ;--p

well, obviously i agree with you.  i think he's wearing on many of the others in that group, though no one has said anything there.

shaka is one.

i rarely even read his posts.

although i'm not afraid to speak my mind i try to avoid things that, as you phrase it may start a "flame war".

something struck me odd in david invoking constitutional free speech(i agree that nothing you said violated his "free speech"-that was yours, right?)-i'm fairly certain david lives in south africa.

Well, I guess commenting was free speech too. But then, for some (many ?), “free speech” means “MY freedom to say whatever I want and YOUR freedom to shut the ù*$& up”…
