canadian, i think-2008-an epidemic of the "white sickness" has broken
out. people are going blond but instead of things going dark all they
see is bright white.
the government in it's infinite wisdom begins to quarantine the
infected.
most of the movie follow how a group survives in one of the
quarantine facilities.
included is a sighted woman who decided to go with her husband because
she believed she'd end up infected eventually but this way they could
stay together.
it soon becomes apparent there will be no attempt to cure and minimal
care given. they only want the infected kept apart.
conditions go from bad to worse as more and more people are forced
into quarantine. the infected are in prison, except in this one the
guards stay in their towers to keep people from leaving. whatever
happens inside is no concern of theirs.
the last 20-30 minutes follows them as they get out and what they find
out there.
intriguing. i liked even though the ending left something to be
desired, in my not so humble opinion-lmao
