Hi to all!!

I am very happy with the conversion result of JODconverter.
But while converting .xls to pdf, the resultant pdf is not as per required. Excel is broken down into separate pages
(based on no of cells used) and thus resulting pdf is not in commensurate with the original excel file.

Even direct conversion from OpenOffice gives the same output.
Any suggestion is highly appreciable.

Thanks

Hi

in the OpenOffice "export PDF" menu, there are options which can alter the PDF output. Try changing some of those to see if you can get the required result. Once you've managed that, you'll be able to tell JODconverter to do the same.

I'm not entirely sure, but it might help if you adjust the printer settings (specifically: the print area) for that excel file in excel itself, I vaguely seem to recall that having some influence.

Hi
I tried direct conversion with openoffice. But for larger excel sheet
(more width), resultant pdf is not as per required.
Excel is broken and then pdf is created. I tried for all setting.

Any idea how to solve this

Did you try what I suggested? In OpenOffice, click on "Export as PDF", then click on "Initial View", then under "Magnification" try "Fit In Window" for example and see how it looks.
