Hi.
I was trying to convert HTML to DOC by jodConverter 3 (also 2.2verion)
but i got some troubles with html files with images: after converting
to doc file - images were missing...

But, i also tried to convert it directly by OpenOffice.
First, i opened html file by SWEB (it is default for such types of
file) and save it as DOC.
-- in resulting doc file i got no image...
Second, i opened html file with SWRITER and saved it as DOC file:
-- good! I have images in my converted file!

So, maybe, when jodConverter tries to connect to openoffice service
when converting HTML, it looks for default application for this file
extension (SWEB) and then, saves it to doc using SWEB?

Is it possible to make JodConverter to use SWRITER for converting html
file to doc?

Sounds like the same problem as the other thread

As for sweb/swriter, OOo is actually a single application - i.e.
'soffice' if you look for an executable - and the various components
like Writer, Calc etc. are just links to that same application. (And,
I don't even have a 'sweb' executable on my machine.) When you open a
document, it's the global OOo app that decide which component to use
for loading that document.

Kind regards

Mirko

Hm.. Founded, that in converted file, image are not included as
attachment, like in pdf.
Images are uncluded llike in any html file - as external link.
Is it possible to include then as in the way with pdf?
