Joburg Carnival tomorrow

More than 2000 carnival participants from all the City of Johannesburg regions will converge at Kotze Street in Hillbrow tomorrow.

If you'd like to join for Joburg Carnival, we have a permission to make use of the shuttle taking media from Newtown to the start of the parade, which starts in Hillbrow at 12am.

Catch the shuttle from the Arts, Culture and Heritage office at 2 President Street, Newtown any time from 10am onwards.

Closest places to park in Newtown:
Bus Factory, 3 President Street
Dance Space, 1 President Street
Bassline parking, 10 Henry Nxumalo Street

Schedule:
The carnival parade starts in Hillbrow at 12 noon
The parade winds through Hillbrow and Braamfontein
Cross Nelson Mandela Bridge at about 2pm
Parade ends at Newtown Park at about 3pm
Official end time is 5:30pm
