Hi all,

I'm looking into unit testing javascript.

Any pointers on what to test on javascript and which frameworks to
use?

Thanks,
Adriaan

Hi there,

Some other nice ones not included in the list are:

1) Vows (Node JS unit testing http://vowsjs.org/)
2) Jasmine (http://pivotal.github.com/jasmine/) -- I know the guys at Sencha use this

I've been focussing on trying to get Jasmine working with the code that I write and when I am more comfortable with the framework I will look at presenting on it at the monthly meetup.

Hope these links help a bit.

Good luck!

Steve

Hey Adriaan

Have a look at Jarrod's presentation from JSinSA:
http://www.jsinsa.com/jsinsa/SessionSlidesDemos.aspx

His demos and slides are there too.

I agree with Steve, Jasmine is very cool, here is a short screencast on doing a kata with Jasmine http://www.alexyork.net/blog/post/JavaScript-TDD-with-Jasmine-the-FizzBuzz-kata-(screencast).aspx
