Startup Weekend Joburg

Hi All,

At a previous meetup I mentioned running a Startup Weekend. Well we have finalized the date and venue. We are going to start on Friday evening 29 July at about 6pm and finish on the Sunday at around 5pm. Microsoft has sponsored the venue as well as proving Azure accounts for the weekend.

The website http://joburg.startupweekend.org will be updated with more information during the next few weeks.

We have a great lineup of speakers and are planning on adding some more. During the event we will have business, marketing and technical mentors that will be able to assist in generating momentum for your startup.

Tickets cost R500 the money is purely used to cover the costs of food, Internet and prizes. We are using a ticketing service and you can find our event at goo.gl/14cpf 

Any funds left over will be used to fund startups created during the event or elsewhere.

We are non profit and will give back to the community as much as possible.
