Business Environment
We're focused on High Performance Computing (HPC) to
test/support/develop/enhance system software e.g. Linux clusters,
libraries ,smart configuration/management, and installation
utilities/tools.
Job Description
The HPCD QCS Support organization is responsible for developing support
of the de-branded Linux Base OS distributions integrated into several
of the HPCD product offerings.
As a team member , your responsibilities include:
Monitoring Open Source and Red Hat web sites for security alerts and
critical/serious patches for all supported versions of the HPTCD Linux
Base OS. Applying patches to build environment, working distribution
specific merge issues, and generating updated RPMs. Perform QA
validation testing as appropriate.
Desired Profile
Education
Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree in a technical discipline (e.g.
Computer Science, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or Computer
Engineering)
Experience and knowledge
Min 1 yrs Linux experience
Familiar with Red Hat Linux distributions, specifically RH Advanced
Server .
