The National Democratic Training Committee (NDTC) is looking for a Deputy Political Director (DPD) to assist in developing our national political outreach program.
The NDTC offers free, interactive online and live training for Democratic candidates running for office. We aim to empower any Democrat who wants to be involved in local politics with the tools needed to be successful. We believe by working with local candidates, we can accomplish three goals: improve the performance of every Democrat up and down the ticket, elect more Democrats to office, and create a deeper bench of qualified candidates for higher office.
Job Description
The Deputy Political Director will work closely with the Director of Live Training & Political Partnerships to manage our existing robust partnerships and develop new ties with other organizations. We are seeking someone who can help grow our partnerships program to ensure the NDTC is playing a prominent role within the progressive training community. The DPD should be able to turn vision into action as the NDTC’s partnership program expands. This person will not only function as the liaison with our external partners, but will also implement systems and processes to ensure the success and sustainability of the national partnership program.
