Deputy Communications Director

Location: New York, NY

• Pitch Forward Majority opposition research to state/local reporters in key battleground states.
  

• Draft rapid response statements and press releases.
  

• Help organize press events that reinforce negative messages against top target Republicans.

• Work with volunteers on the ground to get trackers to events with top targets.

• Write content for Forward Majority email campaigns and social media.

• Help manage Forward Majority social media accounts.

• Help build and maintain press lists in target states.

• Manage media monitoring process with Communications Assistant and interns.
  

Candidates should have at least two cycles of relevant campaign or political communications experience. This role will report to the Communications Director and last through the duration of the 2018 midterm campaign cycle. Salary commensurate with experience.
