EarthRights International is hiring a Development Coordinator in their Washington, DC office. The Development Coordinator is the primary grant writer for grants covering ERI’s U.S. and South American programs. The Development Coordinator reports to the Development Manager and is a valuable member of the Development Team, working to raise an annual budget of $3.8M through institutional giving. He or she will be tasked with writing about ERI’s legal, campaigns, and training programs occurring in the U.S. and Amazon region.

The Development Coordinator will oversee the functioning of ERI’s Americas grant portfolio while working with ERI’s 4-person Development Team. He or she will be responsible for preparing grant proposals, reports, and renewals. The Development Coordinator will be responsible for funder prospecting and identifying new areas for funding and will take a proactive role in identifying ways to connect with these opportunities. The Development Coordinator will also manage ERI’s Americas program grant docket and cycles and ensure that our obligations to funders are fulfilled.
