CANVASSER DIRECTOR

 

Position Summary:

Seeking experienced Canvass Director to recruit, train and coach Canvass Team. Canvass Director will work closely with, and report to Field Director and engage the local electorate through door-to-door and high traffic canvassing. Canvass Director will manage a team of 10 to 50 canvassers.

Canvass Director will be responsible for recruitment, staff management, canvassing and administrative day-to-day tasks. Canvass Director will carefully track expenses, manage a budget, and process human resource tasks. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate and reliable data.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

·         At least one to two cycles of campaign experience of managing a  team of field organizers, or canvassers

·         Proven ability to recruit, train and mentor a Canvass Team

·         Demonstrated ability to hit goals

·         Dedication and ability to work flexible and extended hours

·         A high level of self-motivation and proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

·         Proficiency with VAN, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs

·         Previous payroll experience a plus

·         Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

·         Other duties as needed
