Planned Parenthood is the nation's leading sexual and reproductive health care provider and advocate. The Community Outreach Group is a part of Planned Parenthood, but a separate organization that supports Planned Parenthood with short-term staffing and large-scale advocacy campaigns.
General Description
Community Outreach Group is seeking enthusiastic Deputy Canvass Managers to serve in Cleveland, OH and Columbus, OH. The program will start in Cleveland, and some staff will transition back to Columbus mid-summer. Deputy Canvass Managers will work with Canvass Managers to recruit, train, and manage staff in order to engage communities about a host of issues, but focusing on a messaging and tactical experiment, persuasion, and GOTV on behalf of endorsed candidates along with issues related to sexual and reproductive rights. Along with 4 additional leadership staff, you will collectively supervise a team of hourly canvassers and team leaders. As a Deputy Canvass Manager, you will support the day-to-day management of the canvass office by taking responsibility for some of the following areas of responsibility, depending on your skills, experience, and interests: payroll, recruitment, supporting team leaders, training, office culture and environment, data, and quality control.

Compensation
This is a full-time, exempt, mid-level position with the Community Outreach Group, with an annual base salary between $36,00 - $48,000 depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
Full-time exempt employees are also eligible for a cell phone reimbursement up to $75/month, and employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance.
This is a short-term position with an expected end date of November, 18th.
