North Carolina Campaign Managers

Competitive State Senate Campaigns in North Carolina are seeking campaign managers for 2016.  The Campaign Manager will be the point-person for all major decisions made on the campaign. We are looking for someone who is data driven, tech savvy, and experienced in running grassroots/volunteer centered campaigns and raising money. While we would prefer someone with previous campaign management experience, we are willing to consider others.

Starting Date:  ASAP

Duties include:

• Developing a fundraising plan including revenue and expense projections

• Developing a field plan

• Managing campaign budget

• Coordinating the work of political consultants

• Managing volunteers

• Managing the candidate’s schedule to maximize exposure to voters and 
  donors

• Drafting rapid response campaign communications in consultation with 
  the campaign’s consulting team

Required Skills:

The Campaign Manager should expect a demanding work schedule and be available long hours through Election Day. Qualified candidates are highly organized, highly motivated and capable of working in a stressful work environment.

Ideal Candidate will:

• Have previous campaign experience, ideally in a variety of positions within a campaign

• Be well-organized, professional, and punctual

• Have to ability to delegate work

• Have strong writing and communications skills

• Function well in collaborative and team-oriented work environments

• Be able to function well in high-stress situations
