Future Generations PAC is looking for a passionate Alaska Campaign Director to run our grassroots campaign to elect Dr. Al Gross to the U.S. Senate.

LOCATION: Alaska

START DATE: July 2020

SALARY: $2,700 / month

REPORTS TO: National Campaign Director

Ideal applicants will have the following qualifications:

At least one election cycle on an electoral campaign, or relevant issue advocacy campaign experience
Knack for connecting with strangers
Strong network of contacts in Alaska
Outstanding work ethic and a proactive attitude
A commitment to Future Generations values and vision
Experience managing a volunteer team with passion
General understanding of the geography, history and demography of Alaska
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Expert time management skills
Ability to work 35+ hours / week with some nights and weekends

Additional Qualifications

In depth knowledge of the Alaskan electorate
Experience managing a statewide electoral or issue campaign
Experience working with volunteer teams or grassroots field organizers
Familiarity with relational online organizing tools and innovative digital campaigning technologies
Complex understanding of Native Alaskan history, issues and values

THE JOB | In partnership with the National Campaigns Director, the Alaska Campaign Director leads our campaign to elect Dr. Al Gross to the US Senate. In partnership with our Executive Director, Alaskan Youth Council, Organizational Partners and National Campaign Director, The Alaskan Campaign Director will work to develop, implement and execute a transformative campaign to elect Dr. Al Gross to the US Senate.

SALARY & BENEFITS | This is a full-time position based in Alaska. Some remote work options with a schedule of 35+ hours / week, includes some nights and weekends. The salary is $2,700 / month for this short-term position; July 2020 until November 5, 2020.
