Paid Canvassers and Organizers - Northern Virginia/DC Area

We are looking for paid canvassers and field organizers who are personable, like to knock doors and talk to voters, and are passionate about electing progressives. 

This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to get their foot in the door in politics or for someone looking to break into the Virginia political scene, and there is potential for quick promotions and upward mobility.

Candidates can begin immediately and work through mid-June. After that, it is up to candidate whether they would like to stay on with the campaign through November. 

Duties include:

Responsibilities:

- Canvassing voters via door-to-door knocking

- Phone-banking voters to promote our campaign

- Community Event attendance to inform voters

- Volunteer recruitment and training

- Promoting campaign events to voters

Schedule: Hiring immediately, temporary position through Democratic Primary and General Election.

Pay: Monthly based on experience and time commitment.

Experience as a campaign volunteer or field organizer is a plus but not required. Experience with NGP VAN or MiniVAN is also helpful but not necessary.
