NE-02 Congressional Race seeking Community Engagement Coordinator

The Nebraska Democratic Party is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to work on a highly targeted congressional race. We are seeking someone to start ASAP and work through Election Day in November. The person who fills this role will be charged with implementing an aggressive, persuasion-based field plan.

 

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to engage in direct voter contact, specifically canvasses and phonebanks.
  
• Identifying and engaging community stakeholders, as well as securing validators for the campaign.
  
• Timely and accurate data entry and metrics reporting.
• Other duties as required.
  

 

Qualifications

• High-energy, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Highly organized, with the ability to meet goals and strict deadlines.
  
• Responsive to constructive criticism.
  
• Commitment to electing Democrats.
  
• Willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends. This is not a 9-5 job.
• Car and a valid driver’s license is required.
  
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
