North Hempstead Coordinated Campaign - Field Organizer

The North Hempstead Democratic Committee seeks to hire a Field Organizer's for this election cycle. This is an experienced and energetic team to be a part of, and a great way to gain experience and skills that will broaden your options for the 2016 cycle.

We will be running a coordinated campaign for our Democratic slate with multiple field offices, VAN, campaign experienced Committee support staff, and a great base of volunteers that we aim to grow for the future.

FOs will be expected to:
Maintain ongoing reporting and communication with Field Director; 
Recruit and engage volunteers, develop volunteer leaders and ensure active participation in grassroots activities; 
Account for organizing goals and reaching weekly goals 
Organize house parties
Engage in and organize extensive paid/volunteer outreach events including phone banking, canvassing, and other tactics

Qualifications:

At least 1 campaign cycle experience preferred, but not required

Enthusiasm and a commitment to winning
Strong written and oral communication skills 
Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast paced work environment; 
Willingness to learn, adapt and be a problem solver; 
A laptop and reliable transportation is required (a valid driver's license is required).
