Finance Director - Rebecca Holcombe for Governor - Vermont
The Rebecca Holcombe for Vermont Governor campaign seeks a dynamic and dedicated Finance Director to join the team. Based in Norwich, Vermont, the Finance Director will supervise one current full-time staffer and will be responsible for the hiring of additional finance staff necessary to carry out an ambitious fundraising plan. The ideal candidate will be able to dive in, build on the already successful fundraising capacities in place, ultimately taking full ownership of and oversight for the finance program.
Most recently, Rebecca Holcombe served as Vermont’s secretary of education for four years, after being appointed by both Gov. Shumlin and Gov. Scott, where she worked to address inequalities between those with wealth and those without wealth in our communities. Holcombe resigned her position as secretary of education when she came to recognize that Gov. Scott’s agenda was only making inequality in the state worse by pushing for a statewide voucher program. Now, Rebecca is running for Governor on a platform of ethics and transparency, and creating a sustainable, green energy economy, that grows our workforce, invests in public education, and ensures healthy and happy communities.
