Paid canvassers needed for petitioning efforts in Brooklyn borough-wide race.

Applicants should be able to get to Downtown Brooklyn and be capable of walking throughout the day. Prior experience in canvassing or working on a petition campaign preferred.

Hours: 5 hour evening shifts, 3:30pm-8:30pm EST Mon-Friday, Extended hours over the weekend. Occasional other shifts available, scheduled in advance with bonus incentives.

Responsibilities

• Engage with voters either door to door or by phone and high traffic areas, educating them about our candidate and gathering signatures for ballot access.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and oratory skills
• Ability to meet goals

• Able to sit and/or walk for long periods of time

• Punctuality!
• Highly Motivated
• Previous canvassing or phone banking experience, either paid or volunteer, is not required, but will receive preferential treatment.
