New York congressional race seeks Field Director

Role Overview

The Field Director will work with the Campaign Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive Field Plan focused on aggressive grassroots organizing. The Field Director will hire and manage a team of Organizers who will be on the front lines of the campaign interfacing directly with voters and volunteers. The Field Director should be detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and willing to work long hours. At least two cycles of field experience required. Prior management experience prefered. The Field Director will report to the Campaign Manager.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Including, but not limited to:

• ●  Develop comprehensive Field Plan, including Voter Registration and GOTV plans

• ●  Hire, train, and manage a team of Organizers

• ●  Work with community stakeholders and elected officials to create successful community events for the candidate

• ●  Help create an inclusive and welcoming work culture

Required Skills & Background

• ●  Exceptionally well organized with the ability to meet strict deadlines

• ●  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• ●  Two cycles of field experience required

• ●  Prior management experience preferred

• ●  Must have access to a vehicle
