NH Deputy Field Director with John Delaney for President

John Delaney’s presidential campaign is expanding its team in New Hampshire and seeks an experienced Deputy Field Director to build and manage a data-driven statewide field plan including voter contact, volunteer recruitment, community engagement, and GOTV goals. Qualified candidates will have a history of constructing field programs and managing regional teams focused on direct voter contact initiatives.


This position will:

  • Construct and implement a data-driven field plan

  • Direct the hiring and placement of field staff throughout the state

  • Oversee the training and supervision of field staff, building a tiered field program with RFDs and FOs

  • Analyze data and track the progress of the field program, implementing clear benchmarks and accountability measures

  • Drive a culture of team building that is upbeat and empowering with a mind towards inclusion and willingness to solve problems creatively


Minimum experience and skills:

  • 2+ years managing field in statewide or competitive electoral campaigns

  • Experience developing target universes, analyzing voter outreach data, and making adjustments to the field program based on data analysis

  • Management experience supervising field organizers, driving teams, and juggling multiple priorities

  • Expertise with NGP/VAN platform

  • Knowledge of political and progressive landscape in New Hampshire

  • Can exercise high level of autonomous decision making, can foresee challenges and is an excellent and creative troubleshooter

  • Exemplary interpersonal communication skills, diplomatic in resolving issues, and professional self-management under pressure
