The Sierra Club seeks an organizer in the Hooiser State to build grassroots to help spur the transition to clean energy. Indiana is plagued by some of the biggest coal plants in the Midwest- you will join our team of volunteer leaders, campaigners and organizers on campaigns to retire dirty coal plants and work with communities on just transition to clean energy.
Your job will be to recruit, engage; training grassroots volunteer leaders and build powerful alliances to achieve our campaign goals in the state. You should be passionate about social justice, clean air and clean energy, have experience engaging and moving people to action, a sense of humor, and love of a good road trip. Location: Ft Wayne, NW Indiana and Indianapolis
