Paid Digital Fellowship in DC

[Welcome US]

Start immediately for a DC-based nonprofit organization with close ties to tech industry, hiring a paid fellow to support digital efforts.

The fellow will:

• monitor social activity on multiple platforms
  
• identify engagement opportunities
  
• draft and create social content
  
• ensure consistent brand and message across multiple social platforms
  
• engage with online community
  
• handle rapid response
  
• work closely with partner organizations
  

The fellow will also occasionally assist with other tasks such as drafting and formatting emails and mail merges, providing support during events, and assisting with outreach to help grow our network.

An ideal candidate will be adaptable, fluent in social media trends, and comfortable engaging with the organization's follower community, which includes celebrities, elected officials, political groups, nonprofits, individuals, and others.  

Graphic design experience and/or one year or cycle of experience in digital for political, issue, community, or labor campaigns is a plus but not required. Spanish language proficiency is also a plus.
