Field Organizers needed for Suffolk County Democratic Committee 

The Suffolk County Democratic Committee is accepting applications for Field Organizers to work in Suffolk County, NY during the 2017 election cycle. Field Organizers will have the chance to work on an exciting and coordinated campaign and will gain valuable experience in New York politics.

Field Organizers will be responsible for: 

·         Recruiting, training, and building a volunteer-driven voter contact operation.

·         Managing volunteer canvasses and phone banks.

·         Coordinating election activities with candidates and political staff.

·         Building for political events.

·         Organizing an effective GOTV operation.

Qualifications: 

·         Previous campaign experience with a campaign, state party, membership organization, or non-profit is desirable.

·         Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required.

·         Computer skills required.

·         Reliable transportation is required.

·         Ability to work long, irregular hours required.
