Chicagoland Congressional Campaign Seeks Field Organizers

Incumbent Democrat in Chicago’s Western suburbs is hiring organizers to execute an ambitious field plan. Our campaign is focused on building relationships and bringing new people into Democratic activism.

The district is strategically placed and home to many competitive state and county races, our organizers will help build a blue wave from the bottom up.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Be responsible for their assigned region and campaign office. This is a role for someone who can be accountable but, independent and thrive without micromanagement.

·     Recruit, train and manage a grassroots network of volunteers

·     Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly goals related to volunteer recruitment and productivity

·     Work with Democrats up and down the ballot and other stakeholders to build a blue wave

·     Ensure timely and proper data entry from voter contact and volunteer recruitment efforts.

·     Maintain a professional campaign culture with an emphasis on teamwork and accountability

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·  Applicants must be highly organized and have the ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast-paced campaign environment

·  Campaign/Field experience preferred, but not required

·  A competitive spirit geared toward meeting and exceeding goals

·  Ability to multitask, meet short deadlines, and keep long term objectives in mind

·  Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team

·  Willing to work irregular hours including nights and weekends

Compensation: Commensurate with experience
