Field Organizer - Large, Progressive Ballot Initiative Campaign

A political action committee founded in order to support responsible, progressive public policy in Houston, Texas is building a major field campaign in order to pass a number of ballot initiatives that are critical for economic justice, civil rights, and comprehensive government services in Houston. 

We are recruiting a large staff of talented and motivated Field Organizers to execute an aggressive Direct Voter Contact program through the November 7 election. Field Organizer salary is $3000 per month. In addition to the base salary, there is a $200 stipend for healthcare; although the committee may elect to purchase a group health plan during the course of the campaign. Organizers will also have the option to accept campaign-sponsored housing with their coworkers at an apartment complex that is centrally located in Houston. While suggested, a car in not required, as centralized housing will allow FOs to carpool.
