Public interest DC law office seeks healthcare research specialist to assist in organizing opposition to recently announced health insurance merger

Balto is one of the leading public interest advocacy law firms, representing consumers and public interest groups.  You can find info on the practice at www.dcantitrustlaw.com. We are seeking to hire a recent college graduate with a strong background in healthcare policy to assist in organizing opposition to recently proposed healthcare mergers.  Background in economics and healthcare is desirable.  Very strong organizational and communication skills are a must. Must be very comfortable conducting public outreach and talking to consumer and public interest professionals.  Expected tasks will include contacting and setting up meetings with health care provider groups, following news and providing updates to law office team members and clients, writing articles, drafting Congressional testimony and policy statements, and conducting research and gathering data.
