Job Overview

We are seeking a Deputy Campaign Manager for a Boston Mayoral campaign. In this position you will report directly to the Campaign Manager and work closely with the campaigns senior staff.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assist the Campaign Manager with all aspects of day to day campaign operations including but not limited to: managing office needs and staff, coordinating events and logistics, and managing campaign correspondence & schedules.

  • Provide assistance to the Field Director and Communications Director on day to day aspect of both programs

  • Planning and executing team trainings

  • Working with external vendors in relation to securing campaign materials

  • Assist with the tracking and management of campaign budgets

  • Assist staff in recruiting, managing campaign interns and fellows

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 1-2 cycles of campaign experience 

  • Experience managing and training high performing staffers

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting frequent deadlines

  • Excellent organizational, managerial and time management skills

  • Proficiency with NGP VAN 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel

Additional Details 

If offered this position, as a result of COVID-19 restrictions, you would likely begin working from home and conducting all campaign business virtually. However as the campaign progresses, and in accordance with all COVID-19 guidelines prescribed at that time, you will likely be asked to begin reporting to work in person. 

Compensation

3,250-4,250 a month based on experience
