Finance Director -- State Level Race -- New York State

We are seeking a Finance Director to work on upcoming elections for progressive candidates across New York State. Winning an election requires close monitoring of campaign finances and expenditures, and we are looking for a finance director with a strong background in fundraising, donor research, and budgeting.

 

Responsibilities

-       Developing and executing a finance and fundraising plan for the duration of the campaign, including donor research, call time, and digital components

-       Organizing, planning, and running fundraising events and house parties

-       Ensuring that campaign procedures are in compliance with campaign finance regulations

-       Closely monitoring the campaign budget

      -    Provide regular qualitative and quantitate reports on the field program

 

Skills & Experience

-       Knowledge of New York politics

-       Campaign experience (1 - 2 campaign cycles)

-       Strong writing and speaking skills

-       Ability to problem-solve independently and take creative approaches to meeting goals

-       Computer proficiency (including but not limited to: NGP, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel)

-       Ability to travel as needed

-       Valid driver's license preferable

-       Must be able to work campaign hours as well as nights and weekends as needed

 

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: Commensurate with experience
