American Bridge Broadcast Media Monitors (DC-Based)

American Bridge is currently hiring a Broadcast Media Monitor to monitor dozens of candidates and groups on a daily basis, and lead all video-related research for AB21 produced videos.

Duties also include:

• tracking trends, narratives, and breaking news related to AB21-targeted candidates in local and national media markets;
• communicating these trends to press, video and digital teams;
• organizing story lines and sound bites based on these narratives for produced videos accordingly.

The Broadcast Media Monitor is also responsible for tracking and maintaining metrics for broadcast sources citing American Bridge video, digital, and research work, as well as maintaining and growing the organization’s internal video archive.

Some digital assistance to research teams is also required, including but not limited to capturing social and campaign media upon request.
