About the position: 

The Democratic Party of Georgia is hiring a Coordinated Campaign

Director (CCD) who will develop and oversee the 2020 Coordinated Campaign plan in

tandem with the Executive Director. The 2020 Coordinated Campaign has unprecedented

opportunities to impact key races at all levels of office including multiple competitive

statewide, congressional, and state legislative races. The CCD will build a coalition of partner

groups including grassroots and grass-tops organizations to develop and fund the

Coordinated Campaign.

Duties include but are not limited to:

● Draft and implement the Coordinated Campaign plan in cooperation with partners

● Coordinate with and support Democratic candidates and their campaigns

● Communicate regularly with partners to collaborate, share information, and track

progress toward goals

● Hold partner organizations accountable to resource goals

● Recruit partner organizations to the Coordinated Campaign table

● Supervise communications, political, data, field, and digital departments

Qualifications:

● At least 4 cycles of campaign, labor, or issue advocacy experience

● Proficiency in campaign and general technology including NGP VAN, Google Apps,

Hustle, Microsoft Office apps, etc

● Experience managing multi-department and/or multi-level staffing structures

● Experience coaching staff to improve results

● Ability to speak, write, and communicate effectively to staff, partners of different

backgrounds and experiences, as well as the public at large

● Ability to work long, irregular hours and maintain a positive attitude

Logistics:

● Must have the ability to travel extensively at times throughout the state for more than a day at a time

● Must be able to travel outside of the state, often for several days at a time, to national

training and events

● Office hours are typically 9:00 – 5:00, Monday through Friday, however, evening and

weekend hours will be needed regularly, and the hours will increase during the

Coordinated Campaign

Salary: Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Position will include medical,

vision, and dental insurance benefits.
