Organizing

Field Organizer The Pennsylvania Democratic Party is seeking full-time Organizers to join the Democratic coordinated campaign for highly targeted national and state races. The coordinated campaign will play a critical role in helping to elect Democrats up and down the ballot in Pennsylvania this year: from helping Legislative campaigns in targeted state house and state senate seats all the way up the ballot to the campaign for President. Organizers will be responsible for recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteer operations for the campaign to register, persuade, and motivate voters. Ideal candidates are hard-working, self-motivated, detail-oriented individuals with an ability to hit metrics-based goals, build relationships with volunteers, and turn out voters. The Field Assistant works with the Organizing Director and Deputy Organizing Directors to successfully execute the organizing plan. Responsibilities can include: scheduling and setting up meetings, utilizing systems to track processes, writing and editing content, conducting research, VAN maintenance, managing interns and providing assistance to the Organizing Director and Deputy Organizing Directors with a variety of organizing programs. The Recruitment Director works with the Organizing Director and Deputy Organizing Directors to successfully build hiring capacity for a growing program. The Deputy Operations Director Will work with the Operations Director to support the organizing staff’s day-to-day operations. The Deputy Operations Director will play a critical role in the campaign’s logistical planning and successful execution of organizing programs and supporting staff needs across the state. Ideal candidates will be hard-working, self-motivated, detail-oriented individuals with an ability to follow and meet goal deadlines, manage projects from start to finish and perform under pressure. The Deputy Operations Director will report directly to the Operations Director. Projects include but are not limited to payroll process, on-boarding staff, ordering equipment and supplies, managing reimbursements, helping plan and staff events, and much more! Accounting, payroll, compliance, operations, or administrative experience is a plus.

 

Communications

Regional Press Secretary Join a team that's working to elect Hillary Clinton and Democrats up and down the ticket in Pennsylvania. Reporting Lead

You’re a SQL wizard. You thrive on making data tell the clearest, truest, most important story. Successful applicants will have experience turning around high-quality products on tight deadlines. Bonus points for experience with tableau or other data visualization experience. Campaign experience is preferred but not required.

 

Special Projects/Voter Protection Lead

You’re highly attentive to detail and a great collaborator. You are a systems thinker with experience handling large datasets. You’re creative and look for new ways to problem-solve.

 

GOTV Lead

You love a process, but also know how to find a workaround. Successful candidates will have experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders and clear deadlines. You have strong SQL chops and are a clear communicator. Campaign experience strongly preferred.


Training Lead

You have experience as a field organizer and know what organizers need to successfully integrate good data practices in their work. You’re good at enthusiastically communicating the ways in which data supports and augments the work organizers do in the field. You understand how adults learn and have delivered engaging, interactive trainings.

 

Organizing Lead

You have strong organizing experience and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’re a great communicator and collaborator This is a leadership role that will work closely with regional leads to support and target our organizing program.

 

Regional Lead

You have organizing experience and love VAN, and you want to make the jump to data-world. You’re comfortable in a customer support role and will go the extra mile to make sure organizers are able to take advantage of every tool at their disposal.
