Organizing on Salt Lake mayoral primary

Competitive candidate in Salt Lake mayoral race hiring field organizers, starting immediately.  

Responsibilities:

• Conduct voter outreach through canvassing and phonebanking

• Recruit and manage a team of volunteers and interns in your turf

• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations in your turf

• Other as requested or assigned

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• At least one cycle of campaign or issue advocacy organizing preferred

• Commitment to transparency

• Demonstrated success working with people unlike yourself

• Ability and willingness to work long and varied hours, including nights and weekends
