Top Targeted Democratic State Senate Campaign in the Philadelphia area is seeking motivated, hard-working Regional Field Directors for the 2020 Election Cycle

Pennsylvania’s State Senate has been Republican-controlled for over three decades. With encouraging Special Election and Midterm Election wins, 2020 is a major opportunity for Democrats to retake control of the chamber. We cannot flip the State Senate without this seat and it will take a massive field effort to flip!

 

Responsibilities Include-

• Implementing all aspects of the field program in assigned turf

• Training, recruiting, and managing field organizers and ensuring goals are met

• Volunteer recruitment and management

• Supporting relationship-building and coordinating with local partner organizations and community allies

• Maintaining the highest regard for data integrity

• Ensuring data integrity in Votebuilder/VAN

• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• At least one previous cycle as a field organizer or equivalent experience

• Highly organized and work at a fast pace

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience with electoral work

• Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN and an understanding of field metrics

• Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends.

• A valid driver’s license and a reliable motor vehicle.

• Good sense of humor and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing work environment.

• Previous experience working in Pennsylvania and labor unions a plus, but not required
