Campaign Manager - Progressive New York City Council Campaign - HIRING NOW

We are seeking an experienced Campaign Manager to work on upcoming elections for progressive City Council candidates across New York City. We are looking for a Campaign Manager who can exercise sound judgment, can work well under tight deadlines, and has experience building and motivating teams.

 

Responsibilities

 

-    Execution of the campaign plan, including the fundraising, field, and media plans

-       Overseeing the campaign budget

-    Managing campaign staff, interns, and volunteers

-       Regular reporting of quantitative and qualitative data

-       Draft communication, endorsement, and outreach materials as needed

-    Developing and executing plans to bring grass-tops leaders on board

-    Mobilizing groups for press events and direct voter outreach operations

-    Scheduling the candidate’s time

 

 

Skills & Experience

-       Knowledge of New York City politics

-       Campaign experience (1 - 2 campaign cycles)

-       Ability to effectively command and invest a team

-       Strong writing and speaking skills

-       Ability to problem-solve independently and take creative approaches to meeting goals

-       Leadership experience

-       Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and VAN

-       Must be able to work campaign hours as well as nights and weekends as needed

 

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: Commensurate with experience
