NYC Council Member Rory Lancman, chair of the committee on courts & legal services, seeks a Communications Director to work out of either his Manhattan or Queens office starting July 18, 2016. The Communications Director will use traditional and digital media to advance the office's legislative and community initiatives in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment, and is responsible for press releases, print and electronic newsletters, social media posts, the office website, and other duties as needed. Knowledge of NYC media and government is essential, as is a commitment to progressive policy.
