Deputy Campaign Manager (Communications)

 

Democrat Baltimore City Council Candidate seeks Energetic, Professional Deputy Campaign Director for Competitive Primary. Apply Today. 

Responsibilities:

• Communications Manager will be primarily responsible for campaign communications in a highly competitive campaign for an open council seat. 
• Communications Manager will manage social media, advise on messaging for all paid and earned media, and perform other duties as necessary to advance the campaign. 
• Communications Manager will work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends. 

Qualifications: 

• Prior campaign experience required. (Volunteer experience will be considered.)
• Communications experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Twitter and Facebook required.
• Communications Manager must possess positive disposition, sharp political acumen, and ability to motivate campaign staff and volunteers. 
• Communications Manager must be able to begin immediately and work through the Primary (April 26, 2016). If successful, the position may continue through the General Election (November 8, 2016).
• Compensation commensurate with experience.
