Top-Tier State Senate campaign in Northeastern Illinois
seeking a full-time Field Director to run an aggressive program targeting a
vulnerable incumbent. The Field Director will be responsible for drafting and implementing
a robust field plan, supervising Organizers and Interns, conducting community outreach, and
staffing campaign events.
Primary Responsibilities include:

Implementing and Executing the Field Plan.
- ·
Train and Manage Field Organizers.
- ·
Overseeing Walk/Phone Lists - By precinct
priority as determined by FD and CM.
- ·
Planning and executing regular voter contact and
volunteer recruitment events.
- ·
Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers
and activists to participate in grassroots activities such as
door-to-door, phone banking and early voting to persuade and turn out
voters.
- ·
Developing relationships with key political
players, opinion leaders, and allied organizations to build our base
of support in the District.
- ·
Generating public awareness and support by
engaging with grassroots and social media organizing.
- ·
Set,
meet and exceed benchmarks for voter contact, volunteer recruitment, grassroots
engagement. Meeting daily reporting and data entry deadlines.
Skills Needed:

public speaking and outreach/organizing skills required.

time management and organizational skills.

Ability
to communicate effectively, work well with others, work well under pressure, be
detail and goal oriented.

Salary
