Aggressive, high profile, and competitive Democratic campaign in Northern Virginia seeks Finance Director for 2019 race.

The finance director will be responsible for the development and execution of the campaign fundraising plan under the direction of the campaign manager and in coordination with the fundraising consultant.

The finance director will develop, implement, and manage call time programs, low and high dollar events, donor prospecting and research as well as oversee a call time manager and various volunteers/staff members.  In conjunction with the fundraising consultant this person will develop and manage the online fundraising, email and direct mail programs as well as have responsibility for writing and implementing the campaign finance plan. Ability to manage and train the finance staff, work with the candidate, campaign manager and other campaign staff to ensure that finance goals are met is essential.

Candidates for this position must be extremely organized, energetic and also be proficient working with NGP software.  Preferable experience is a minimum of one cycle of strong finance experience as a finance director on a political campaign, finance assistant or call time manager.  Experience in all aspects of campaign finance operations including call time, events, mail, online, phone, finance committee, budget management, and compliance is also preferred.
